Take your phone/pad to your horse, click a picture or import from the gallery, enter name, identity/ govt. registration number, DOB, gender, choose from the 5000 breeds, choose from all possible colors, name of the owner, Sire & Dam names, date of acquiring the horse, ridding styles & special abilities of your horse, special notes & more. You can do this for one or any number of horses.
• Set schedules for De-worming, Vaccination, Farrier service & periodic weights:
Once you have created a profile of a horse, you can set schedules for De-worming, Vaccinations, Farrier Service, periodic weights. Choose the medication or the de-worming type, set a date for you or your vet to de-worm or vaccinate your horse. Set a reminder for the schedules. For Farrier service, choose individual or all legs; choose
between trimming, shoeing or both. Choose the desired metal for shoeing, add you vets phone number and share the scheduled Farrier service with them.
• Keep a track of all costs:
As and when you set schedules for De-worming, Vaccinations or Farrier Service, the application will keep a life long expense history of the horse. This history is also visible in the profile of the horse and indicates how efficiently you have maintained the health of the horse.
• Create a check list for travel:
Ready to compete in an event? Travelling with your horse? You will not forget any tack or equipment needed for travel. Use the application checklist which has a pre-populated list of horses all tack & travel needs. Name the event, select the date, choose all that you need to carry during travel & create a custom travel list.
• Find a Vet near you:
If you are travelling with your horse or if your regular vet is not available, finding the nearest veterinary hospital or clinic is just a click away. The app will narrow down to your GPS co-ordinates and find all the options of Vets on Google Maps. Choose the one you prefer, find the phone number, address or click on the driving directions to the Vet.
• Health & Care tips:
Understand the requirements of keeping your horse in good health through our extensive Health & Care button. It will give you a detailed understanding of the Body Condition Score (B.C.S.), detailed information on De-worming, Vaccination & Food Chart.
• Share your horses profile:
We believe that the sharing option is one of the best strengths of this application. You can share a horse’s profile to a friend, a vet or a prospective buyer through email or messaging with all the details of the horse, including the Picture, with the past and future health maintenance, weight maintenance programs you have done & the money you have spent.
We made this app. for the love for the animal. Don’t write us off as it won’t encourage us to improve or put in new ideas to the app. We are working to include new modules with every upgrade.
